Former Married At First Sight star has shared her incredible transformation after undergoing Brazilian butt lift surgery.
Sarah Roza, who appeared on the 2018 season of the reality show, took to Instagram to share before and after photos of her body.

The reality star told news.com.au she wanted to show her “before” photos to be “transparent” about how she achieved her body.

“We all have insecurities about our bodies so it was really important for me show my before pictures,” she said.

“I didn’t want there to be a false narrative of how I’ve achieved my incredible results.”

In the Instagram caption Sarah said it had “taken me a while to upload these images because I was SO self conscious about you all seeing my ‘before’ pictures”.

“Previously I always managed to look great in my clothes because I wore restrictive shapewear underneath my dresses EVERYDAY which was just exhausting!” she wrote.

Sarah said she had “always been a curvy girl” and wanted to “enhance” her figure but it just wasn’t possible to do so through diet and exercise.

“I just couldn’t naturally achieve the dream body I was after no matter how hard I dieted or exercised due to my age (42) and hormones,” she said.

After researching surgery for a year Sarah made the decision to get a Brazilian butt lift, undergoing the procedure at Cosmos Clinic in Melbourne.

A Brazilian butt lift, also known as a BBL, is when unwanted fat is taken from other parts of the body and injected into the bottom.

It’s one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the world, with the amount of butt lifts performed increasing by 77.6 per cent since 2015, according to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Sarah had liposuction on her arms, back, flank, waist and stomach, which was injected into her butt for a more “perky” appearance.

The procedure came with six weeks of recovery that was “uncomfortable but never painful” but meant Sarah wasn’t able to sit, drive or lay on her back as it would put pressure on the healing area.

After the recovery period Sarah was able to remove the medical compression garments she had to wear while healing to reveal a “dramatic change in my body shape”.

“This definitely isn’t a solution for weight loss (as I actually only lost about 5 kgs) but rather it’s permanent body sculpting at its finest and I’m so glad I did it!” she said.

Sarah’s candid post was praised by her followers on Instagram, with former MAFS co-star Tracey Jewel saying she was “so proud of you”.

“You deserve this happiness! And you look absolutely amazing (you also did before too),” one person commented.

“What a transformation,” another wrote. “As long as you feel incredible that is stunning and you should feel it.”

Sarah hopes that by being candid about her experience it will give those considering a BBL a “helpful perspective”.

“I was already a very confident woman before having this surgery, but now that I have the body of my dreams my confidence has gone through the roof,” she told news.com.au. “I’m so excited for what the future will hold.”

Sarah isn’t the only former MAFS star to undergo the procedure. In July, Cathy Evans – who appeared on the 2020 season – also got a BBL.
