Influencer Olivia White shares raw and graphic liposuction and breast surgery

When Instagram influencer Olivia decided to go under the knife, she also decided to share the entire process with her 162k followers.

An Instagram influencer has been praised for sharing raw images and footage of her liposuction, breast surgery and tummy tuck with her 160k followers.

Olivia White posted all of the graphic and gory details of her recent $20,000 surgery to be transparent about her body makeover and not just show a “glamorous before and after”.

“The overall response has been incredible so much support and love,” she told Kidspot.

“I chose to share to show people exactly what it’s like, even when it’s very raw and vulnerable for me. And everyone seems to be very grateful and intrigued by it.”

Olivia White had multiple consults

The mum-of-two researched her surgery options for two years before going under the knife.

Her aim was to improve the fullness in her breasts after breastfeeding, and have liposuction on “loose skin” around her stomach. Following weight loss between appointments it was later recommended that she undergo a ‘mini tummy tuck’ as well.

“It was just something over time, through changes to my body that I decided I wanted to do for me,” she says.

“Like people want to change their hair colour or shape their brows, even injectables or Botox. Do we do this because we are unhappy? Or because it’s a choice we have and we want to make it?”

Olivia gets ‘fat transfer’ in breasts

After recently losing weight Olivia had never felt better about herself, but her new body shape made more prominent “a few things that bothered” her.

The 32-year-old didn’t want breast implants, so opted for a ‘fat transfer’ to fill out her natural breasts.

“This has been a decision I’ve toyed with for a long time. I’ve had consults with several surgeons. Discussed many options like tucks and implants but ultimately this is what I decided was the best choice for me.”

“I wanted to share as raw as possible”

Olivia shared footage of her body almost nude being marked by her surgeons before the procedures, then her results immediately after – even with blood dripping from her wounds.

Later she reposted intense, graphic videos of the surgeries taking place shared by her surgeons Dr Daniel Aronov and Dr Daniel Lanzer. (Warning, do not go look if you have a weak stomach).

Her decision to share the surgery so openly came because she wanted to help others and be completely transparent.

“If sharing can help someone else make an informed decision, or helps them make a choice they may have been feeling guilt over doing something for them, then why not,” she says.

“I wanted to share the process and journey (of my surgery) as raw as possible. It was never supposed to be about a glamorous before and after, it was to show what it’s actually like.”

‘I advocate for all women to do what they need’

Olivia has used her platform on many occasions to promote messaging that encourages body positivity and gratitude but does not believe her surgery challenges those sentiments.

“My messaging has always been around encouraging women to live their lives courageously, confidently, and independently,” she says.

“I advocate for all women to do what they need to do to find happiness and confidence. I’m not here to comment or quote on anyone else’s bodies or what they choose to do with them. Just to support and uplift all women in their choices.

“We continue to create a lot of stigma and judgments on all aspects of body image and self-love. How it looks for one person, might not be the same as someone else.

“I’ve always strived to confidently stand for who I am. I wasn’t ashamed of my body, in fact, I’m proud of my body, I never tried to hide it, (and I’ve proudly put it on display many times) and the changes it’s been through. The work I’ve put in and will continue to put in.”
