Kourtney Kardashian mum-shamed over tween's 'inappropriate' holiday outfit

"Why is she dressed like that? Buckle her pants, you're a bad influence," someone asked Kourtney about her 11-year-old.

Kourtney Kardashian has been mum-shamed after letting her 11-year-old daughter, Penelope, wear 'inappropriate' outfits on a recent trip to Hawaii.

The tween and seven lucky friends were taken on a holiday to celebrate her 11th birthday, with the 44-year-old Poosh founder sharing happy snaps of the trip online.

But it didn't take long for people to criticise her daughter's holiday wardrobe, which consisted of crochet crop tops, baggy low-waisted jeans and tanks.

"Beyond grateful for the memories that will last a life time"

Sharing a selection of photos from their getaway, Kourtney wrote: "Still beaming with joy from the one week I had taking seven girls to Hawaii to celebrate my daughter’s birthday.

"Beyond grateful for memories that will last a lifetime. Pure magic 🌈✨."

In the first photo, Kourtney, who is expecting her fourth child, is posing with her tongue out next to Penelope.

The second photo shows her growing baby bump, but it's the third that people have taken issue with.

It's a shot of Penelope and her cousin, North, 10, with their arms around each other laughing in their lush Hawaiin accommodation.

Penelope has her jeans unbuttoned and folded over on themselves, something that's becoming increasingly fashionable amongst Gen Z'ers.

But commenters believe she is "too young" to be partaking in this trend.

In another photo in the carousel, Kourtney can also be seen with her jeans folded down in the same way.

Other photos showed the tween wearing a white matching crochet set, with an off-the-shoulder top and low-waisted skirt.

"Do her friggen pants up"

"Inappropriate and disgusting," one critic slammed in the comments.

"Why is she dressed like that? Buckle her pants, you're a bad influence. Are you guys done selling your bodies? Your daughter's yet?" said another.

A third wrote: "Um P needs to put on clothes."

And a fourth added, "Do her friggen pants up."

"Why does P have her jeans unbuttoned in a photo and like some shirt that's [probably] Kourtney's, like she's an adult," asked someone else.

"My daughter would definitely not be wearing a cropped bra and unbuttoned pants as a trendy outfit" another comment read.

The mum-shaming didn't stop there

And the comments kept coming and coming.

"Midriff on a child... I don't know," another read.

Then someone else added, "She's in a crop top, I wasn't allowed to wear them in my 14-18 years."

Other things she was criticised for in the comments included: travelling while pregnant, taking her daughter and their friends on an overseas holiday, letting Penelope get a gel manicure, using Nannies while on holiday, posting photos of herself on her daughter's birthday trip... the list goes on.

Ugh, can we PLEASE give this mum (and all mums, ever) a break?

It's her daughter and only she knows what's right for her. People need to chill on the mum-shaming.
