THE Mad Hueys have managed to squeeze in some fishing practice at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show before they head overseas to film a new Netflix show.
The local larrikins, who now boast their own beer brand and merchandise, rose to fame through their Jackass-style videos of their weekend surfing and fishing antics.
In August four of the group will travel to Canada to take part in a new fishing series.

“We’ve got some guys filming a Netflix series called Here Fishy, Fishy so we’ve been invited to take part in an episode over there which will be good,” Brodie Sweeney told the Bulletin.
In October the group will travel to the Northern Territory in the hopes of snagging the top prize in a statewide fishing competition.
NT Tourism have released six tagged barramundi into the state’s waterways, with the first one found delivering a million dollar payday.
The other fish will also be worth $10,000 once caught.

Visitors to the boat show have the chance to walk away with $500 cash if they can catch a fish from the tank with the Mad Huey’s Dean Harrington on hand on Saturday morning to lend a hand.
While Dean jokes he’s more familiar with chasing barracudas on the Glitter Strip than the barramundi of the Top End, he’s still hoping to get lucky with a prizewinning fish.
“I just love getting out on the water and having a laugh and a fish with my mates,” he said.
“When everyone’s together sh — t just happens, if you put yourself in that situation with a few hundred beers something’s bound to happen!” he said.
