Samantha Armytage, Candice Warner shine in Chandon Ladies Day for McGrath Foundation

Sam Armytage has made her first public appearance after departing Sunrise on Thursday, stepping out to host Chandon Ladies Day.

Samantha Armytage hasn’t slowed down since leaving Sunrise this week as she hosted the Pink Fashion Lunch in support of the McGrath Foundation on Chandon Ladies Day at Rosehill racecourse today.

The former breakfast morning host wore a full length light pink dress with side pockets. It included a split up the back and long flowing sleeves that almost reached the floor.

Attending the event with her husband Richard Lavender, Sam teamed her outfit with a red bag and heels, long earrings and a pink fascinator.

She was joined by Candace Warner, who wore an oversized, mid length bright pink one shoulder dress, which featured a ruffle across the neckline and down the side.

The mum-of-three accessorised with a white clutch bag, a sparkly headband and a silver watch and bracelet.

Australian actor and director, Rachel Griffiths and Neighbours star Sharon Johal spoke at the event. Rachel chose a white pantsuit with a silk shirt that featured red and blue stripes and white and blue stars. She teamed it with a white wide brimmed hat, red heels and a black bag with a long strap.

Glenn McGrath and Sara Leonardi-McGrath also attended the fundraiser. He wore a dark blue suit with a pink and blue tie. She donned a full length pink and black striped dress with a split above the knee. Sara topped off her outfit with a jewelled headline and a black clutch.

Guests indulged in a three course menu curated by Chase Kojima of The Star’s famed restaurant Sokyo and enjoyed a special performance by singer Christine Anu.

Up for auction were an exquisite Cerrone necklace featuring a strand of South Sea pearls with an oval shaped pink topaz, a bespoke pink hat featuring silk cherry blossom designed by popular milliner Ann Shoebridge, and a beautiful silver tone stainless steel La Grande Classique de Longines collection watch to help fundraising efforts for the McGrath

Foundation.
