The 55-year-old was unveiled as the face of the 2021 race day carnival on Sunday, revealing she was looking forward to having “a flutter” on a horse at one of the six races which include the prestigious Longines Golden Slipper Day on March 20.
Her appearance was her first as the new ambassador.
Model Nikki Phillips was also among the celebrity attendees, wearing a stunning black jumpsuit by Toni Maticevski.
The design featured a deep V-neck, statement shoulders and a train over the pants. She finished the look with a black wide-rimmed hat, a white clutch and patterned black and white heels.
Channel 7 reporter and racing heiress Kate Waterhouse chose a striking floral outfit to kick off the racing calendar. The 37-year-old, who is the daughter of horse trainer Gai Waterhouse, rocked the floaty wrap-dress with a fluffy black shoulder bag and a jewelled headband.
Other attendees at the event included renowned make-up artist to the stars Michael Brown and celebrity fashion stylist Donny Galella who worked the red carpet alongside the famous faces they’d styled.
Michael shared behind-the-scenes clips from the event held at Sydney Mint in a MJ Bale suit with a royal blue blazer and white pants.
