Fashion giant TK Maxx in search for staff for new Upper Coomera store

A NEW international mega fashion retailer is set to open on the Gold Coast, and is calling for locals to apply. Here is how you can score a job.

AN INTERNATIONAL mega retailer is set to open on the Gold Coast, and it needs you.

TK Maxx has confirmed it will open its 43rd Australian store at Upper Coomera later this month at the brand new Home Consortium Centre.

The new TK Maxx store — the fourth of its kind open on the Gold Coast — will welcome open its doors to the public on Thursday, September 27.

The store has put the call out that they will be hiring 50 staff from the local area.

“We’re always on the lookout for great people to join the TK Maxx team, particularly in the busy lead up to Christmas, so we would love to hear from job seekers,” TK Maxx Australia spokesman Clare Willenberg said.

The store boasts 2,000 square metres of major labels and up-and-coming designers.

Ms Willenberg said the company was thrilled to be expanding its presence on the Gold Coast.

“We are so excited to bring TK Maxx to shoppers in Upper Coomera. Our new store will be

packed full of amazing treasures for local bargain hunters,” she said.

“What’s more, the store will receive new deliveries several times a week with thousands of new items arriving, so there will always be something fresh and exciting to discover.”

Upper Coomera residents can expect to find a range of women’s, men’s and kids’ fashion, shoes, accessories, luggage, beauty, toys, lingerie and home wares.
