The Gold Coast’s own three-time Coolangatta Gold winner has tied the knot at a “dream” wedding on a small island off Fiji.

The Gold Coast’s own three-time Coolangatta Gold winner has tied the knot at a “dream” wedding on a small island off Fiji.

Ironwoman Courtney Hancock married her long-time partner, Australian cricketer Nick Buchanan, at Malolo Island Resort on June 3.

The couple has been engaged since 2021 after being together for the better part of six years.

A video from the resort showed they tied the knot nestled in greenery and under icicle fairy lights.

Friends and family watched on while the now-Mrs Buchanan walked down the aisle in a stunning white lace dress to her partner, who wore a forest-green suit.

Guests said it was a wedding “dreams were made of”.

“So much love for the king of the turf and queen of the surf,” Isabella Waller said.

The Buchanans posted to Instagram on Wednesday evening sharing the news to their combined 26,000 plus followers.

Supercar driver Will Davison commented saying he was “sorry we couldn’t make it”.

“Absolutely stunning. Congratulations guys,” he said.

“A magic couple with such true love”.

Radio identity Emily Jade O’Keeffe said “Yay! I’ve been waiting for these (photos). Everything I hoped for. I wish you so much love forever and ever”.

Fellow Ironwoman champion Jordan Mercer commented and said their “love was magic”.

“We are so lucky to have share this moment with you both,” she said.

“Bring on a lifetime of adventure”.
