When you’re purchasing groceries, there are a few things that you’d hope have a consistent number of items in them - especially if you’re planning on splitting them between your kids.

One ALDI shopper has exposed one particular product that apparently varies more than she anticipated - and people are not happy.

“Come on, ALDI!”

An ALDI shopper has taken to Facebook exposing the supermarket’s Mac & Cheese Bites.

Whilst on the front of the box, it specifically says it will come with 12, the woman’s experience has been quite different.

“Purchased new mac & cheese balls for grandkids, 12 pack,” she said in her post.

“First box had 11 second box had 10! Come on, ALDI not good enough!”

She did add, however, that despite the number of bites, the product itself was pretty darn good.

“PS kids loved them. I tasted one and were delish!” she said.

It’s not just her…

Multiple people flooded to the comments confirming that it’s not just her, with some shoppers receiving as many as 15.

“I got 15! Someone be rolling their balls. Too big or too small, sending Aldi mums wild,” said one commenter.

“I got 13!” another added.

“I just bought a pack. Only 11 inside so I put a complaint form in. Just make sure you let them know through their website or it won't get fixed,” a third person suggested.

This led some to think that the system was based on weight, as opposed to number - despite the box clearly saying 12.

“How is this ALDI’s fault?”

Regardless, one thing was for sure - commenters were ready to back up ALDI, confirming that this was not the fault of the supermarket, but rather the supplier.

“I think it might be the supplier/producer that has a problem with his machine - not Aldi,” said one person.

“Aldi doesn't package them though.....” another agreed.

“Just going to say, how is this Aldi's fault? They don’t manufacture them, send your complaint to the company that manufactures them. Nothing to do with Aldi,” a third person suggested.

ALDI encourages any customer to send feedback to them directly via the help centre, so they can investigate the matter. Customers can return any product they are not satisfied with for a full refund or replacement.
