Christmas might still feel like a lifetime away.

But, at ALDI, they’re going to be ready to help you prepare for the big day sooner than you might think, with their Christmas Seafood Selection about to head to stores.

ALDI’s Christmas Seafood Selection is officially coming back to stores, letting avid planners sort out their summer seafood feasts before Mariah Carey goes back to number one.

According to ALDI Australia’s Shopping Expert Kylie Warnke, this year’s collection is set to be one of the best yet, including a range of high-quality items at the lowest possible prices.

“Christmas is a time for families to come together and create cherished memories with each other,” she said.

“Our seafood options are crafted with convenience and cost in-mind, meaning Aussies can spend more time with their families and less in the kitchen, while also having peace of mind that they’re getting the best value”.

What’s on offer?

This year, ALDI is bringing back some much-loved favourites.

If lobster is what you’re after, ALDI will have an abundance of options, including Specially Selected Premium Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter Glaze 380g ($34.99), Specially Selected Premium Lobster Puff Pastry Canapes 240g ($6.99), and Specially Selected Split Rock Lobster 450g – 2pk ($29.99) in two variations; with fragrant garlic & herb sauce, and with French style garlic and thyme Provencal sauce.

The lobster tails were a huge hit in 2024, with TikTok creator @plantshappen sharing the love last year.

“This is my first time cooking lobster, and it was so easy, and, as you can see from my live reaction, it was so yum,” she said in a video.

ALDI has also got you covered when it comes to their selection of prawn options, including Specially Selected Frozen Australian Tiger Prawns 1kg ($29.99), Specially Selected Croissant Prawn Puffs 210g ($6.99), Specially Selected Deluxe Prawn Selection ($4.99), Scallop & Prawn Bisque Gratin 300g ($9.99), and Let’s Party Original Crumb and Bubble Crumb Prawn Balls 180g ($4.99).

Also returning to stores will be the Specially Selected Premium XL Maple Bacon Scallops 270g ($14.99), Specially Selected Atlantic Salmon Side 700g ($22.99), Specially Selected Salmon Wellington with Cheese and Dill Sauce 700g ($15.99), Specially Selected Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Puff Pastry Canapes 240g ($6.99), and Scallop & Champagne Gratin 300g ($9.99).

But, of course, there’s also plenty of newness hitting freezers.

This year, ALDI has reeled in the Spicy Mango Prawns 280g ($6.99) to add a bit of kick to your plate, as well as Let’s Party Prawn Bao Buns with Sriracha Mayo/Mushroom Bao Buns with Hoisin Sauce 198g ($4.99), and Let’s Party Filo Prawn Rolls 250g ($4.99).
