1. Best Bite Pizza

THE GOLD COAST’S BEST BURGERS AS VOTED BY YOU
Less than two years ago this pizza shop was a half baked idea and today it’s been named the winner of Best of the Gold Coast.
Owner Japjit “Jamie” Rajpal says he’s thrilled with the success his restaurant has found in such a short amount of time.
“It was opened on the 25th November, 2018,” he said. “I really can’t believe it.”
Jamie puts Best Bite’s appeal down to three things — consistency, toppings and a special cook-it-yourself pizza option.
“I work six days a week there, I make 90 per cent of the pizzas myself, I’m very picky about how they’re made.

FLASHBACK: THE BEST PIZZAS ON THE GOLD COAST OF 2019
“People love that we put a lot of toppings on. Our signature Best Bite pizza has 16 toppings on it.
“We also do take and bake, where we make the pizza there, customer takes it home and cooks it in their own oven in their own time.
“The take and bake concept separates us from everyone. I have not heard of that in Australia — I picked up that concept from the US.”
Jamie recommends the signature Best Bite and BBQ 6 meats for those looking to taste the hype.
POPULAR TEX-MEX CHAIN TO OPEN ON THE GOLD COAST
“There's about 2.5 inch of topping on the Best Bite pizza,” Jamie said. “People love it.”
