SAY so long to those post-Christmas blues, there’s a fun-for-all carnival coming to Broadwater Parklands this Boxing Day.

From 26 December until 15 January Gold Coasters can delight in the biggest and best of rides, shows and food at the Gold Coast Christmas Carnival where family fun and thrills are set to keep festive spirits soaring.

Event Manager Doyle Gill said organisers are expecting crowds in their thousands, with joy on the menu for everyone.

“We’ve got a lot of thill rides, family rides, a huge ferris wheel, shows, carnival food, petting zoo and a lot of fun carnival games,” he said.

“Why not come out and celebrate the beautiful evening weather the Gold Coast has to offer at Broadwater Parklands – I can’t see anywhere else people would rather be.”

The twilight festival will run every day from 6.30pm to 9.30pm with the exception of New Year’s Eve, when revellers can see in 2023 from four o’clock with fireworks at 8.30pm and again at midnight.

Entry tickets are $3 per person and $10 for a family of four, with the cost of rides ranging from $7-$12.
