EMERGENCY services have responded to a potential gas leak after reports a northern Gold Coast home was broken into and vandalised.
Emergency services were called around 11.17am after reports of a loose gas knob at a private residence on Discovery Drive in Helensvale.
One patient was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
A Queensland Police spokesman said the incident was suspicious and neighbourhood inquries were taking place.
Queensland Fire and Emergency told the Bulletin two crews were on scene, appliances were turned off but the building was now clear.
