Will Karl Stefanovic be at Gold Coast Logie awards at The Star?

One of TV’s most recognisable presenters said he would “boycott” the Logies if moved to the Gold Coast – but it’s understood Karl Stefanovic is getting the tux ready.

ONE of TV’s most recognisable presenters said he would “boycott” the Logies if moved to the Gold Coast — but it’s understood Karl Stefanovic is getting the tux ready.

Two years ago, when the decision was announced to move the TV WEEK Logies from Melbourne to the Gold Coast, Nine’s Today show presenter said he wouldn’t be attending.

AUSTRALIAN TV STARS HOPE TO KEEP LOGIES ON GOLD COAST FOR GOOD

“I’m telling you right now if the Logies move from Melbourne I’m boycotting them. I will not be going to the Logies,” he said at the time.

The full list of stars who will be attending this years 61st Logies, held at The Star Gold Coast, has been revealed and gold Logie winner Mr Stefanovic isn’t on it, according to The Australian newspaper Media Diary.

But it’s understood Mr Stefanovic will be making an appearance and does have an invite, though it’s not clear if his wife of six months Jasmine Yarbrough will be in tow.

After hosting the breakfast show Today for 15 years, Mr Stefanovic has since moved over to work on Nine’s Sunday evening program 60 Minutes.

TV WEEK’s 61st Logies will be held at The Star Gold Coast, in Broadbeach, on Sunday.
