SUITES featuring a billiard room, a karaoke room, or a private gymnasium will feature in a new Broadbeach luxury hotel.
The Star Entertainment group’s new hotel will be known as The Darling, while The Star Gold Coast’s existing hotel will now be known as The Star Grand.
Setting it apart from a standard hotel experience, The Darling will feature a butler service, room service catered by one of the hotel’s gourmet restaurants, an infinity pool and bespoke fittings for that extra touch.
The Star Entertainment Group Managing Director Queensland Geoff Hogg said the “premium” product would compliment the existing, newly renovated Star Hotel.
“This will be next level,” he said.
“It will be personalised and sophisticated and the staff will really engage the customer for that extra special touch.
“It’s the little things that will really make it a different experience than what people might be used to.

These signature details include large balconies in every room, boasting unencumbered views of the Coast, 57 luxury suites from 70 to 328 square metres in size, with butler service and the “finest amenities and finishes”.
The sister hotel The Darling at The Star Sydney is already an multi award-winning hotel, and the first in New South Wales to be awarded a Forbes Five-Star rating.
The hotel, which is due to be completed by March next year, is set to become a major driver in attracting vital tourism and economic benefits for the Gold Coast.
It is planned to be in full operation ahead of the Commonwealth Games.
