Sea FM breakfast host Heather Maltman reveals she’s leaving the show

90.9 Sea FM breakfast host Heather Maltman has announced she will be leaving the show.

The 34-year-old will be leaving the Gold Coast to move to Sydney to be with her family and focus on her new podcast.

Ms Maltman shared a photo on her Instagram account, captioning it with: “You gotta know when it’s time for something new. Take a risk and go after what you really want.”

90.9 SEA FM CELEBRATES 30TH BIRTHDAY

Co-hosts Dan Anstey and Ben Hannant said were both excited for her.

Ms Maltman has been on the show — called Heather, Dan & Ben — for the past two years.

90.9 Sea FM content director Corey Kay said over the past two and a half years of Heather hosting the show, there has been a lot of success in ratings, original ideas and events.

“Heather has been at the forefront as a key member of the team,” he said.

“We are sad we will no longer to get enjoy Heather’s infectious personality around the building and within our family here at Sea FM.

“We understand and completely support her need to be back in Sydney to focus on her passion project.”

Ms Maltman’s last day hosting the breakfast show will be on Friday.

It is unclear if anyone will be replacing Ms Maltman, but Sea FM has confirmed after Friday Mr Hannant and Mr Anstey will remain on air from 5am to 9am weekdays.
