Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston says he’s already rehearsing to play Trump, even if he hasn’t even been offered any role to play the incoming president.

Cranston, who took Broadway by storm with his portrayal of President Lyndon B. Johnson in All the Way, calls Trump’s shocking rise to the White House “Shakespearean.”

“Donald Trump is a wonderful character. I’ve been playing around a little with it and have worked on a portrayal,” Cranston told the Las Vegas Review Journal.

“There will be a story done on him, obviously. I think it would be something I would be very interested in exploring, for the serio-tragic nature of it. His story is very Shakespearean in so many ways.”

Cranston was in Sin City for a fundraising gala for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. The actor’s wife, actress and child-safety advocate Robin Dearden, is on the group’s board.

Cranston became a household name thanks to his Breaking Bad role as high school teacher-turned-meth kingpin Walter White.

Cranston reprised the character on Saturday Night Live recently in a skit showing White as Trump’s selection to run the federal Drug Enforcement Agency.

Cranston was an outspoken critic of candidate Trump during the fall campaign, at one point vowing to move to Canada if he won. He’s since stepped back from that north-of-the-border pledge.
