While their relationship is certainly lighthearted off-screen, Lawrence and Pattinson’s Die, My Love is a heavy, psychological drama exploring themes including post-partum depression and psychosis.

Lawrence plays Grace, a new mother living on a farm in Montana, while Pattinson plays her husband Jackson.

Shortly after giving birth to the couple’s first child, Grace begins to exhibit strange behaviour as she slowly succumbs to post-partum depression and, ultimately, enters psychosis.

The film, based on the 2017 book by Ariana Harwicz and directed by Lynne Ramsay, is produced by Lawrence’s production company Excellent Cadaver.
