MAFS star Jessika Power says her Logie Awards night snub is no surprise because channel Nine consider her a “liability” - but we can expect to see her at another venue on the Gold Coast.

MARRIED at First Sight’s Jessika Power says her Logie Awards night snub is no surprise because channel Nine consider her a “wildcard” so went with “more boring” cast members.

POWER PARTIES ON GOLD COAST

But she is excited to be a VIP guest at infamous Surfers Paradise nightclub Sin City instead.

The controversy magnet has not been invited TV’s night of nights at Star Gold Coast despite other MAFS stars getting the nod including Mike Gunner.

“We all put in the time, the effort, shed the tears and went through the hardship of MAFS and it would have been nice to receive an invite.

“But I’m not surprised I didn’t get one and they went with the more boring cast members.”

Power, a part-time Gold Coaster after chasing fellow MAFS cheater Dan Webb to the Glitter Strip before they split, added: “I would probably get on the red carpet and do something stupid.

“Channel Nine look at me as a wildcard and a liability. I feel like I am a liability sometimes at these fancy events,” she said.

“I had the most controversial relationship and they want to preserve the integrity of the show which is Married at First Sight not Let Me Take Your Husband,” she said hooting with laughter.

Power will be guest of honour at Sin City’s birthday next Friday where fans can win a meet-and-greet: “I’ve never been before so I’m a bit excited.”

Meanwhile Nine news presenter Wendy Kingston is a fan of the Logies shift to the Gold Coast: “It absolutely had such a different vibe. The red carpet on the Gold Coast had the best atmosphere last year.

“It’s a lot warmer than Melbourne so you can be a bit more creative with your gowns. The Gold Coast loves a party, we always have. The first year was excellent. It will be awesome.”
