Karl Stefanovic’s 16yo daughter Willow launches modelling career

Channel 9 star Karl Stefanovic’s little girl is growing up fast and is now to set for her own turn in the spotlight as a professional model.

Willow Stefanovic — the middle child of three Karl Stefanovic shares with ex-wife Cassandra — is launching a modelling career with her father’s blessing.

After turning heads in a “stunning” gold dress at her formal this year, Willow, 16, has been signed by boutique Australian agency Precision management.

Willow Stefanovic is launching a modelling career with her father's blessing.

Willow credited both her parents with supporting the move.

“Since I was a little girl I’ve been drawn to modelling, but thankfully Mum has such a sensible head, she always said when you’re old enough to make the decision that’s what you really want, then I will do everything to support you,” she told Stellar magazine.

“Embarking on a modelling career now means I can pursue my dreams one small step at a time. I will never let it interfere or disrupt my studies, or let it consume me. My education will always be the number priority for me, and that will never change.”

“(Dad) backs me 100 per cent as long as I’m happy,” Willow added. “We all know I didn’t get my fashionista gene from him.”

The Today host said his family would support Willow “wherever her heart takes her”.

“She doesn’t go into anything blindly, especially the fashion world. She’s a strong, independent young woman and wants to pursue lots of things in life. We love her spirit,” he said.

Karl and Cassandra, who he split with in 2017 before marrying Jasmine Yarbrough, also have two sons, Jackson and River.

“I encourage all my children to work hard and pursue their dreams and aspirations,” Cassandra told Stellar.

“Willow knows who she is and what she wants, and those attributes make me extremely proud.”
