WHEN social media entertainer Shammi Prasad missed out on a ticket to Splendour in the Grass, he decided to climb into a wheelie bin and get his mate to sneak him in.

Their video of the stunt has gone viral with 100,000 views on Instagram and 16,000 on YouTube.

Shammi’s YouTubing partner Michael Fallon dressed up in a high-vis vest, straw brim hat and orange workwear T-shirt — looking almost identical to the real groundsmen.

Michael began talking to Splendour groundsmen while carrying around a plastic bin bag, picking up rubbish.

He then emptied out a bin and wheeled it outside the grounds to where Shammi was waiting to hastily climb in.

Despite many people watching the prank, the duo had a lucky break when no one reported it.

Michael continued to talk to the groundsmen to keep them distracted as he wheeled the bin to the gate and successfully into the Byron Bay festival grounds.

This wasn’t Shammi’s first viral prank — in June Shammi tied his friend to a sign nearly naked in Mermaid Waters in order to “teach him a lesson” for sleeping in after noon.
