THE owners of a popular Broadbeach steak restaurant and bar are feeling a cut above after Who Wants to be a Millionaire host Eddie McGuire’s big shout out.
The game show maestro, who is hosting his show in Broadbeach, has been sampling the culinary delights of the city, and has taken a liking to long-running Moo Moo.
He gave the venue a shout out on the show.
Appreciative owners Autumn and Steven Adams celebrated on Facebook on Thursday morning, posting: “Huge thanks to Eddie Mcquire for telling millions of viewers on Who Wants To Be a Millionaire last night, ‘If you’re in Broadbeach or going to the Gold Coast you must visit Moo Moo, a fantastic restaurant’.
Mr Adams said: “Woke up to quite a few messages this morning haha, clearly enjoying his visits to us. Must tell him to pop up to Brisbane as well.”
Moo Moo has bounced back after shutting down during the pandemic when it generously kept paying 44 staff $150,000 in wages before the JobKeeper payments kicked in.
The Bulletin has also spotted Hollywood A-lister Tom Hanks at Moo Moo.
