Chris Hemsworth aka Thor drops into Mudgeeraba on Gold Coast today

THE staff of a popular Mudgeeraba cafe were the picture of calm when Chris Hemsworth dropped in for a coffee today.

But behind closed doors at least one of the hospo workers cried tears of happiness over meeting the humble Hollywood heart-throb.

Thor visited Mudjira Village Eatery in the Mudgeeraba Market Shopping Centre, probably looking for a place to chill out, after being at Sydney’s Supanova Comic Con & Gaming over the weekend.

“So, as you can tell from my face ... TODAY WAS THE BEST DAY EVER!,” wrote staff member Felix Fennell on Instagram.

“Chris Hemsworth was chillin at Mudjira today!

“My life is now complete and I can officially say I have cried because of the overwhelming happiness from meeting a celeb (don’t worry not in front of him) hahaha.”

When asked if she took an over the shoulder selfie, she wrote: “Hahaha! No, because he was sitting right in front of me ... lol

Other Facebook users and Hemsworth fans commented on the chance-meeting.

Crystal-rae Bower wrote: “Could you imagine being the girl serving him?! I wouldn’t be able to cope!”

“I know! She looks so calm ... I’d be sooo excited (red rash and all!),” Jazmin Bower added.
