Margot Robbie’s run of Barbie-inspired looks hasn’t ended yet.

The actress, 33, hit the red carpet for the Critics Choice Awards on Monday, decked out in a glamorous red Balmain gown, featuring rosettes and a full skirt, which appeared to have taken some inspiration from the 1996 Radiant Rose edition of the iconic doll.

The Critics Choice Awards is in its 29th year and celebrates outstanding achievements in TV and cinema.

This year’s event, hosted by comedian Chelsea Handler, saw Barbie set a new record with 18 nominations, making it the most-recognised single film ever.

It’s premiere partner, Oppenheimer, went in with 13 nods.

English actress Emily Blunt, who starred alongside Cillian Murphy in the biographical thriller about the creation of the atomic bomb, joined Robbie in bringing the glamour to Monday’s ceremony with a similarly bright-red, rosette-adorned dress.

The Critics Choice awards follows last week’s glitzy Golden Globes ceremony, which saw Oppenheimer and Succession dominate in the film and TV categories.

Barbie entered the arena with nine nominations, collecting two statues, although Margot Robbie lost in the Best Actress category to Emma Stone.

The season will continue on Tuesday with the postponed Emmy Awards, which had to be pushed back from late last year as a result of the Hollywood strikes.
