It’s believed William was dropping by Windsor Castle to visit his father, King Charles, who was there on Thursday before heading back to Buckingham Palace in London to meet with new British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

According to The Sun, William bought the electric scooter last year to help him cut down the 15-minute walk to Windsor Castle from his Adelaide Cottage home, which he shares with wife Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales and their three children.

“It just makes sense. He whizzes up to the castle when he needs to see the King,” an insider source told the publication.

“It’s a two or three-mile [4.8km] round trip from his family home at Adelaide Cottage to Windsor Castle so it’s easier by scooter than car or walking.”
