Prince Harry’s rep rejects claim the Duke has a room to ‘escape’ Meghan Markle

A spokesperson for the LA-based royal has issued a blunt statement around a claim around the Duke’s living arrangement.

Prince Harry does not have a room set aside in a luxury hotel where he stays on his own near his Californian mansion, despite a report saying otherwise.

A rep for the royal has debunked the claim stating: “This is not true.”Sources said the Duke of Sussex has an escape pad near he and Meghan Markle’s Montecito, California, mansion where he can work out and stay.

It is alleged Prince Harry also has a bungalow kept on standby for him at San Vicente Bungalows in Los Angeles.

Prince Harry was pictured at the San Vicente Bungalows with Meghan Markle last March.

The club operates a strict no photography policy and social media ban, which no doubt appealed to the privacy-seeking Duke of Sussex.

Guests are also banned from approaching or interrupting other members inside the clubhouse.

The Sun reported that Prince Harry regards the club as “an escape place”.

The reports emerged as the couple failed to post any pictures on their fifth wedding anniversary on Friday, The Sun reports.

It also coincides with British media reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are frustrated King Charles did not get in touch with them after their “near catastrophic car chase” in New York.

The Telegraph reported Prince Harry’s had hoped that the experience might have prompted his father to contact him.

The Duke and Duchess have not heard from any senior members of the royal family since revealing that they were involved in what they claimed was a “relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours” that could have been fatal.

Britain’s Prime Minister Rishi Sunak also seemed to dismiss the couple’s run-in with the paps, calling the incident “not really my priority.”
