Sydney Sweeney looked glum during an incognito outing with her ex Jonathan Davino, which marks their first sighting since calling off their engagement.

Sydney Sweeney has been spotted with former fiance Jonathan Davino for the first time since calling off their engagement.

The US actress, 27, and her business partner ex, 41, were photographed during a downcast outing in Los Angeles on Sunday, local time, both dressed casually as Sweeney appeared to go incognito in a hoodie and sunglasses.

People reports the pair, who were joined by Sweeney’s dog Tank, sat down at the Beverly Glen Deli for an hour before leaving together.

While the couple are yet to release a statement addressing break-up reports, Sweeney has raised eyebrows with her unusual social media activity.

The Euphoria star recently deleted a rare photo she shared of herself kissing Davino on New Year’s Eve, and has been uploading a series of sexy photos and videos over the past few weeks without her engagement ring.

Break-up rumours first emerged in early March, when it was reported Sweeney and Davino had been living apart.

According to US Weekly, the couple, who had been together since 2018, were “supposed to get married this spring” but Sweeney “couldn’t handle the stress” of a wedding and her career.

Meanwhile, Sweeney reunited with her Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell at his sister’s wedding in Dallas, Texas last weekend.

A source told TMZ Sweeney and Powell did not attend the nuptials as a couple, and that she and her best friend RSVP’d for the nuptials months before her split.

However, Powell made a cryptic comment during a subsequent appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends in the US, where host Jenna Bush Hager teased the Top Gun: Maverick actor about the media frenzy that ensued after they were seen in Texas together.

“You know, timing is everything in this world,” Powell said while laughing. “[My sister] and Syd are obviously great friends and it was a hell of a wedding.”

The pair were the subject of widespread romance rumours during filming of their rom-com in Sydney, Australia in early 2023, though they later admitted to “leaning into” the dating speculation to promote the movie, which went on to make a $US220 million at the global box office.

While Sweeney rarely speaks publicly about her love life, she opened up about her relationship in a magazine interview last year.

“I’m a very successful, independent woman who’s worked really hard,” Sweeney told Glamour magazine in October. “I’ve accomplished and bought everything myself, and I provide for myself and my family.”

“I would love to set the record straight,” she added. “You can be in a healthy relationship with someone and also be very successful without needing the man. We’re teammates. We’re in it together. And we want to see each other succeed.”
