Chaotic scenes unfolded at the radio station’s Christmas party, with one attendee suffering a gruesome injury, Brittany Hockley has revealed.

Brittany Hockley has revealed the KIIS FM Christmas party descended into chaos over the weekend, but not just from the typical office drinks mayhem.

The former Bachelor star, 35, who is filling in for Kyle and Jackie O over summer alongside Mitch Churi and Human Nature’s Phil Burton, revealed an ambulance had to be called to the venue after newsreader Brooklyn Ross suffered a gruesome glass injury from a beach ball gone awry.

“People were hitting a giant beach ball around but it turned into chaos very early,” Brittany began.

Brit described the moment a ball game went horribly wrong at the KIIS FM Christmas party.

“Someone hit the ball, it went across the room, knocked someone in the head then ricocheted onto a whole table of glass, all the glasses smashed off.”

Describing the moment as “chaos”, Brittany continued: “Then as a champagne glass smashed, Brooklyn stepped on it and it went through his shoe.”

An ambulance was called to treat the bloody injury, but Brittany assured listeners that Brooklyn is fine.

Brittany, Mitch and Phil are holding the fort over summer, with Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O taking time off after struggling with her health. Brittany has been filling in for Jackie O over the past few weeks.

On Monday, the former reality star wrote on Instagram, “Well it looks like you can’t get rid of me that easily. Like a rash from your European getaway I’m here to stay!

“Get out your hair gel and your eternal flame because together with Mitch Churi’s hair and a sprinkle of Human Nature I’ll be in your ears every morning until the end of the year!”

The podcast host’s big radio move comes amid speculation KIIS FM is looking to replace axed drive show 3pm Pick Up, which featured Kate Langbroek, Monty Dimond and Yumi Stynes, with Brittany and Laura Byrne’s podcast Life Uncut.

The Daily Mail reports Brittany and Laura were “offered a multimillion dollar deal by ARN to host the 3pm Pick Up weekdays in 2023”.
