ATTENTION, Gold Coast – your cutest baby has been crowned.
Halle Vella, just seven months old, was chosen from 40 finalists to be crowned overall winner of the Bulletin’s Cutest Baby Competition.
Mum Jade Alderson, 27, said she couldn’t believe her “fashionista” bub, who also won our ‘Most Stylish Bub’ award, had won the overall title.
“It’s so exciting and this is going to be the coolest thing to look back on when she is older,” she said.
“I have always wanted to be a young mum and when Halle came along, life has been a dream.
“I’ve had much fun dressing her up, especially during COVID-19.
“I have done a bit of online shopping — to the point the postman knows my name.”
Ms Alderson said she mix and matches Halle’s look with jumpsuits, leggings and headbands from Best and Less, Kmart and other boutique stores for a “super cute look”.
The Upper Coomera mum and childcare worker has documented Halle’s life on Instagram since she was six weeks old and now is an influencer for My Little Wardrobe, Ocea The Label and Little Loves Collection.

“I started the page to keep in touch with family in other states during COVID-19,” she said.
“When I first started, it was like a diary I wanted to hand on to Halle when she was older but now it’s become a fashion parade.”
During COVID-19, the duo kickstarted Bare Baby – a matching mummy and daughter bow headband business.
