A car has been completely destroyed after it burst into flames next to a Gold Coast school and kids playground attraction.
Fire crews were called to Reedy Creek Rd in Burleigh Waters at about 8.15am on Tuesday.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said crews arrived to find the car fully engulfed in flames.
He said the blaze was under control by 8.20am and extinguished by 8.30am.
A red vehicle was completely destroyed and the front fender had melted off.
The scene was near Marymount College and popular trampoline playground Bounce.
