A southeast Queensland pastry business that has been making Australia’s ‘favourite’ sausage rolls since the 1990s is being wound-up.
The Australian Tax Office has forced Ghostgum Marketing, which trades as Mrs Quick Foods and is located in Beaudesert, into liquidation owing an undisclosed amount of money.
The wind-up order was initiated on April 1 and last Friday accountants Ferrier Hodgson were appointed liquidators of Ghostgum Marketing.
The sole director of the company is Michael Evans who was appointed in December 2008.
It’s not the first time the company has been the subject of a wind-up order.
In May 2011, it faced a wind up notice but it was dismissed in April the following year, according to ASIC records.

Mrs Quick Foods, which started in 1993, boasts making Australia’s ‘favourite’ sausage rolls.
Their products, according to the Mrs Quick’s website, were available at Coles, Woolworths and IGA and their 3kg beef and chicken sausage rolls were exclusively sold at CostCo.
Ferrier Hodgson liquidator Timothy Michael and Ghostgum Marketing director Mr Evans were contacted for comment.
