THE list of future tenants of a $500 million mega-development on one of the Gold Coast’s biggest sites continues to take shape.
Construction is now well-underway at Southport’s Queen Street Village on the old Gold Coast Hospital site.

The first businesses are due to open in less than a year, with the latest plans filed with council revealing more of the giant mixed-use project.
The plans show a large medical centre will be built on the Queen Street side of the project while Mexican eatery Guzman Y Gomez will also open within the complex.
TWIN TOWERS PLANNED FOR SITE NEXT TO $500M DEVELOPMENT
The first stage of the mixed-use project will be a four-storey shopping and entertainment centre that will include an IGA supermarket, Asian food court, new tavern, two drive-through fast-food eateries and 11-screen, 1000-seat Dendy cinema complex.
