After the release of the US Federal Reserve's latest meeting minutes, Wall Street's major indexes closed higher. The S&P 500 and the Dow Jones indexes gained 0.2 per cent while the technology-focused Nasdaq ended flat.
Cryptocurrency giant bitcoin is just above $US97,000.
The Aussie dollar is trading around US63.65c.
