Guests at the Gold Coast’s newest luxury spa will be welcomed by the subtle scent of soothing oils set in a fit-out of soft, calming hues that promise “an oasis of peaceful ambience”.

Chaun Spa opens to public bookings from November 23 and is the final element to open in The Langham, Gold Coast, which opened its doors to hotel guests in June.

Billed as a “holistic wellness concept”, Chuan Spa is a fixture of Langham hotels globally, with treatments and experiences guided by the principles of traditional Chinese medicine.

The new spa offers facials, massages, scrubs and wraps, hand and foot therapies, and beauty treatments, with each customised to nurture, balance and restore, guided by the Five Elements of wood, fire, earth, metal and water.

Amy Chan, Langham’s global assistant group director of spa and wellness, said guests would experience tailored, holistic wellness with a team of experienced therapists.

“We’re so excited to finally welcome guests into the Chuan experience here on the Gold Coast,” she said.

“The Langham’s ocean and hinterland surroundings provide a natural fit for guests to immerse themselves in Chuan treatments based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine; a spa retreat based on philosophy as old as time itself.

“Chuan will provide a haven of Oriental Serenity to slow down amid the fast pace of life and focus on re-centreing oneself and leave feeling revitalised, nurtured, balanced and restored.”

Chuan’s treatments will use serums, oils and masks from luxury brand AMRA Skincare.

Chuan Spa at The Langham, Gold Coast will be open 10am-6pm daily.
