Samantha Palmer spent hours at Waverley Police Station on Saturday before she was charged over the alleged attack on her 22-year-old son.
Police were called to the family home on Drumalbyn Rd in Bellevue Hill just after 1.30am on Saturday and found Ms Palmer’s son, Hugo Ball, suffering serious injuries.
According to police, he had allegedly been stabbed in the upper body and was bleeding heavily.
