A man accused of knifing a man at a western Sydney food court will apply to be released behind bars during his next court appearance.

Two men, including Yousef Sabbouh, have been charged after an alleged stabbing at a Merrylands shopping centre last year.
Police allege Sabbouh stabbed a 35-year-old man in the torso with a knife at Stocklands on Friday, October 27 about 2.40pm when he sat in the food court.
Paramedics treated the injured man before he was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition. He has since been released.
After inquiries and a public appeal, a 19-year-old man was arrested after attending Granville police station on December 20.
He was charged with accessory after the fact to wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, conceal serious indictable offence and driver not disclose identity of driver/passenger.
He was granted conditional bail and will appear in Parramatta Local Court on January 30.
Sabbouh, 22, was arrested after he attended Granville police station this week and was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday when no bail application was made and was refused.
The matter was adjourned to March 7 and a bail review will be made on January 17.
