Tziporah Malkah calls in police after Taylor Auerbach shares semi-naked photos without her consent

Tziporah Malkah has lodged a complaint with police over semi-naked photos of her being shared without her consent after she was unwittingly dragged into the bitter feud between TV producers Taylor Auerbach and Steve Jackson.

‘Stunning day’: Andrew Bolt breaks down latest evidence presented in Lehrmann defamation case

The woman dragged into a scandal involving TV friends-turned-fierce enemies — Taylor Auerbach and Steve Jackson — has made a report to NSW police over the circulation of semi-naked images taken of her without her knowledge on a night drinking with the pair five years ago.

Former model and actor Tziporah Malkah went to a police station late Friday to make an official complaint about the alleged filming and distribution of intimate images of her without her consent.

It followed evidence given by Mr Auerbach during the Bruce Lehrmann defamation case hearing last week in which he admitted distributing photos to media organisations.

“I am deeply concerned to have been dragged into the ongoing Bruce Lehrmann court case,” Ms Malkah said yesterday.

“Put simply, I have nothing whatsoever to do with Bruce Lehrmann, those court cases, Thai prostitutes or bags of cocaine.

“These photographs have been sensationalised and have been variously described as nude and naked — they are not completely either: I was topless.

“My being topless at home should hardly come as a shock to anyone, as there was a previous news story, where a policeman came to my door, and he asked me to put a top on – in my own home.

“Just because that’s my attitude, it doesn’t mean that anyone can take pictures of my breasts or me.

“In this particular case, an individual with whom I was once vaguely acquainted, has decided to use images of me in his personal vendetta against a former male friend and colleague of his. This is completely unacceptable.

“I believed that it was my duty to immediately report this activity to the police.

“The experience is deeply personal, hurtful, frightening and degrading. I am very angry and hurt that I was made an unwilling accomplice to a man’s vindictive, spiteful vendetta against an erstwhile friend of his.

“I am simply one of the latest in a very long line of women who are paying the price for society’s failure to treat women seriously.”

Ms Malkah, formerly the fashion model, actor and television personality known as Kate Fischer, last month told The Saturday Telegraph she was “at her lowest ebb” when she spent Christmas Eve in 2019 in the company of Mr Jackson and Mr Auerbach.

Police were told on Friday that Ms Malkah met Mr Jackson and Mr Auerbach at a pub in Kings Cross at 3pm on December 24, 2019, to discuss a story idea about Ms Malkah’s family property in Yass.

After consuming a number of drinks they went to her Elizabeth Bay home, where they kept drinking and discussed details of the story.

Police were told that at some point during the night Ms Malkah removed her shirt and jeans and was dressed only in bikini-style briefs.

There was talk of photographs of Ms Malkah for the story but no discussion of naked photos, police were told.

On December 26, 2019 Ms Malkah met with Mr Jackson and a photographer and photos were taken for a newspaper article published the following day.

Fast-forward to March 22 this year, and Ms Malkah told police she was contacted by several journalists about the images.

Mr Jackson — who is not accused of any wrongdoing — is pictured in the images, which were taken by another person.

Up until then, Ms Malkah hadn’t been aware of the images.

Police on Friday were given a copy of the images that had been given to journalists in March this year.

Sources say the investigation will now be handed over to Kings Cross detectives.

The revelation comes after an explosive week in federal court where Mr Auerbach was questioned about the night in 2019.

Mr Lehrmann’s barrister Matthew Richardson asked Mr Auerbach if he had been involved in the distribution of semi-naked photographs of a woman sitting on a couch with Mr Jackson.

“Is that true?’’ the barrister asked. “Yes, sir,’’ Mr Auerbach replied.

The barrister then put to Mr Auerbach: “So you sent those photographs to media organisations didn’t you?

“You did not obtain the consent of the woman in question to do this. Did you know you were aware that it was a criminal act to send photographs … to third parties without consent?

“No,’’ Mr Auerbach replied.
