Two men charged after NSW Police Strike Force probe drug supply in Hurstville, Kingsgrove

Two men have been charged with a string of drug offences as police continue to probe the supply of prohibited drugs in Sydney’s south and south west.
Officers from Strike Force Trute arrested two men, aged 31 and 39, at a licenced venue on Parramatta Rd in Homebush West just before 9.30am on Thursday.
The pair were subsequently charged with prohibited drug supply among other offences after police searched two homes in Hurstville and Kingsgrove and discovered prohibited drugs and paraphernalia
During the searches, police also claim they seized a number of telecommunications devices and credit card reading devices. The items will undergo forensic examination.
The arrests come as Strike Force detectives continue to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs, including methylamphetamine, heroin and gamma-butyrolactone (GBL), across the local area.
To date, seven people have already been charged with various offences – including drug supply – and remain before the courts.
The two men in their 30s who were arrested on Thursday were taken to Auburn Police Station where the younger man from Hurstville was charged with six counts of supplying prohibited drug indictable and commercial quantities.
He was also charged with three counts of supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, supplying prohibited drug small and indictable quantity, supplying prohibited drug small quantity, and knowingly directing activities of a criminal group and knowingly dealing with proceeds of crime.
The older man from Kingsgrove was charged with participating in a criminal group contributing to criminal activity, supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis and supplying prohibited drug indictable and commercial quantities.
Both men were refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Local Court on Friday.
Investigations under Strike Force Trute are continuing.
