Comanchero bikie Alen Moradian never stood a chance.
The brutal extent of the deadly attack carried out on Moradian, 48, can be seen for the first time, as the Audi hire car he was in when he was shot was towed from beneath his Bondi Junction apartment on Thursday.
Police sources with experience of underworld hits said it was clear from looking at the car the shooter was “experienced” and had snuck up to close to Moradian before he began firing.
“Close range, experienced shooter with good stable muzzle control, there’s no doubt about that,” the source said.
Seven bullet holes could be seen in the front driver’s side window — five of them in a tight grouping together, a sixth which brushed the edge of the door as it hit the window and a seventh to the left aimed straight at the driver’s seat headrest.
Moradian is believed to have been hit by multiple bullets, including at least once in the head.
But it was close to 10 minutes before his body was discovered by another resident of the Sprint St high-rise apartment block, who then called Triple-0.
The low-profile but high-powered drug kingpin’s death has shocked Sydney’s underworld, with no shortage of potential rival gangs or cartels on the list of suspects for the NSW Police Homicide Squad.
