A teenager has died after his car left the road and crashed into a tree in Sydney’s west overnight.
Emergency services were called to Spence Rd in Berkshire Park shortly before 8pm on Tuesday following reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Officers arrived to find a Hyundai hatchback had veered off the road and collided with a tree.
The driver, an 18-year-old male and the sole occupant of the vehicle, was assisted by police but died at the scene.
Police established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
