A female schoolteacher accused of sexually abusing a teenage student has been charged over allegations she sexually propositioned a second student in a southwest Sydney classroom.

Lurnea High School teacher Tayla Lee Brailey, 30, was arrested last Tuesday and charged with having sexual intercourse with a teen under her care, sexually touching a child under her care, inciting a child under her care to sexually touch her and child abuse material-related offences.

A magistrate granted her strict conditional bail the following day to live with her parents near Wollongong.

However, The Daily Telegraph can reveal Brailey was charged again on Friday morning as police identified a second alleged victim while combing through her phone after her initial arrest.

She faced Wollongong Local Court on Friday, where Magistrate Claire Girotto granted bail on the same conditions, despite the seriousness of the allegations and prosecutor’s opposition.

Police documents tendered to the court reveal Brailey is accused of sending the second alleged victim explicit videos of herself performing sex acts in the shower, saying “I’m horny for you” and warning him not to disclose their conversations as she feared her husband finding out.

It is further alleged she masturbated the teen in her classroom, then pulled her pants and underwear down in efforts to incite him into having sex with her.

The court heard police will not allege any sex occurred.

Brailey’s lawyer Patrick Schmidt told the court his client strenuously denied the allegations.

He said Brailey had seen a doctor since her release on bail, and received a preliminary diagnosis of bipolar, which he said sometimes carried traits of “hypersexuality”.

According to court documents, police have now interviewed multiple students at the school, who described Brailey as “flirty” and “touchy”.

They allegedly told detectives she was often seen to “unzip” her jacket in the classroom and expose her cleavage while sitting near male students.

It is alleged Brailey sent the 16-year-old boy an Instagram follow request in early July, and they exchanged sexually charged videos throughout the school holidays.

According to court documents, the boy sent Brailey videos of himself masturbating, to which she allegedly responded “yum” and “I am horny for you”.

In one conversation, she allegedly said “can we f — k already?” and suggested they have sex in her classroom, her car or at her Wollongong home.

The fresh charges come a week after The Daily Telegraph exclusively revealed what police allege against Brailey regarding the first complainant.

According to court documents tendered during her first bail application, Brailey allegedly sent the first teen videos of herself masturbating and had unprotected sex with him in a car during school time, before allegedly purchasing the morning after pill.

The Department of Education has confirmed Brailey has been suspended from her employment.

Brailey’s matters return to court on October 2.
