Police set up crime scene after woman’s body found on Wahroonga fire trail
Despite extensive searches following the discovery of a woman’s body on a walking trail on Thursday, police are yet to work out who she is or how she died.

Mystery still surrounds the discovery of a woman’s body off a bush track on the upper north shore.
Police are still scouring the scene, more than two days after members of the public stumbled onto her remains.
Police have been unable to determine if the woman, believed to be in her 40s, died from misadventure or foul play since she was located on Thursday afternoon.
The small bridge that she was found under — near Cliff Oval Wahroonga — and the nearby bush were again carefully searched by police and members of the State Emergency Services on Saturday.
The area has been a crime scene for two days, with forensic officers combing over the area for any clue that may unravel how she met her end.
They left on Friday afternoon after SES members in gumboots trawled through the bush surrounding the area.
The woman has not yet been formally identified by police.
Police are currently awaiting the results on toxicology tests and a preliminary autopsy before doing so.
Locals say the spot is a well-known walking trail, popular with people taking their dogs for a stroll.
