The kidnapping and assault of a man in Sydney’s south in April has seen police release CCTV images in a bid to find those behind the alleged incident.
On Sunday, April 10, a 27-year-old man was threatened by two men with firearms after a brief conversation with them about 7.30pm at Campsie.
The two men then forced the 27-year-old into a vehicle and drove to an unknown location in the St George area, where he was held overnight.
The man was then assaulted and his credit cards, mobile phone and dark grey-coloured BMW sedan were stolen.
The next morning, he was driven to a location in Strathfield, where he was able to escape.
He suffered superficial injuries but has since made a full recovery.
St George Police Area Command commenced an investigation after police were notified of the kidnapping.
