Two men have been hospitalised after the boat they were in capsized off Sydney’s northern beaches.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to the Bayview Boat Ramp in Bayview about 3pm on Sunday, “following reports of a boat crash on Pittwater at Soldier’s Point”.
She said officers were told on arrival that a boat, driven by a 43-year-old man, had “flipped before capsizing”.
“The driver and a 45-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition,” the spokeswoman said.
Police have urged anyone with information or video of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
