Pair charged with stealing parcels, ammo, food from Pyrmont units
A man and a woman in their 30s will face court after a huge hoard of stolen items went missing from a Pyrmont apartment complex.

Two people will face court after being charged with stealing parcels from an apartment complex in Sydney’s inner city.
The pair in their mid-30s were arrested at a property in Pyrmont after police launched an investigation into a hoard of missing goods that had reportedly been stolen.
On Christmas Eve officers from Sydney City Police Area Command’s Proactive Crime Team were alerted to two electric bikes that had been stolen from a residential carpark in Saunders St, Pyrmont.
Following inquiries, investigators executed a search warrant at a unit and a nearby car park in the same suburb almost two weeks later on Tuesday, January 3.
Officers found several items relevant to the investigation, including pre-packaged food meals, ammunition, prescription medication, and credit cards.
They also located toy collectibles, action figures, shoes, and replica firearms. All items were seized and taken to undergo forensic examination.
A 37-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were arrested at the property and taken to Day Street Police Station.
The man was charged with three counts of larceny, three counts of goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen, supplying prohibited drug, possessing ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority, and possessing prescription unlawfully obtained.
The woman was charged with two counts of larceny, three counts of goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen, possessing ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority, supplying prohibited drug, possessing prohibited drug, and possessing prescription unlawfully obtained.
Police will allege in court that the duo were stealing parcels and packages belonging to other residents from the entrance of a Pyrmont unit complex.
Both were refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday.
