Man charged after stabbing in Doonside in Sydney’s west
A man will face court with police alleging he stabbed a teenager during a scuffle in Sydney’s west.

A man has been charged with reckless wounding after an alleged altercation in Sydney’s west left a teenager in hospital with a stab wound.
Police were called to Knox Rd in Doonside shortly before 1pm on Sunday following reports of a stabbing.
Officers were told a 19-year-old man had been stabbed by a 25-year-old man following an altercation, before the younger man left the scene.
The 19-year-old was located a short time later and treated by paramedics for an arm wound, before being taken to Westmead Hospital.
The 25-year-old man was treated for injuries to his feet before being taken to Westmead Hospital under police guard.
Upon his release, he was taken to Blacktown police station where he was charged with reckless wounding and affray.
He was refused bail to appear before Blacktown Local Court on Monday.
