One of the men involved in a wild brawl at a Sydney service station last week was previously the target of an infamous attempted underworld murder.
William Siale, 33, was lucky to escape with his life when a masked gunman allegedly ran into a Marrickville barber shop and opened fire on him and his brother Eric in July 2023.
But Siale is now back in the headlines after a wild brawl at the Metro Petroleum on Belmore Rd about 9pm on May 15.
The towering and tattooed man can be seen in the vision having a lengthy conversation with another man, Habib Alameddine, before the chat turns into a brawl.
Siale is soon supported by two friends who together throw Mr Alameddine to the ground, punch and stomp on him, before bashing him with milk crates and a concrete bollard.
In a final act one of the men throws the bollard through the back window of Mr Alameddine’s luxury Bentley SUV, before the attackers took off and petrol station workers came to his aid.
Mr Alameddine had to be treated for a broken arm and head wounds as a result of the attack.
In a statement, NSW Police said he was taken to hospital and treated for his facial injuries and fractured arm, but has since been discharged.
Two other men are also being sought over the fight, with detectives from Campsie PAC with the assistance of the State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad investigating.
In a coincidence, this week police charged a man they allege was responsible for shooting at the two Siale brothers back in 2023.
There is no suggestion of any link between the 2023 shooting and the recent brawl.
