The former national president of the Lone Wolf bikie gang Erkan “Eric the Wolf”’ Keskin has been confirmed dead in Turkey.
Senior NSW Police sources have said that Keskin, also known as the “Naked Bikie,” was found dead on Monday Australian Time.
Federal Police have also confirmed that the bikie boss died yesterday.
The cause of death has not been confirmed.
Police sources have revealed Keskin’s wife had contacted the Australian embassy about bringing his body back to Australia.
Although living overseas, he was still in control of the Lone Wolf bikie gangs and considered one of Australia’s biggest importers of drugs.
Keskin was on a select list of about 17 people known as APOT — Australian Priorised Organised Target — meaning he was considered one of the country’s biggest crime threats.
The former Turkish soldier is believed to be behind at least five murders in Sydney over the past seven years.
Sources who had spoken to Keskin as recently as last week said he had been partying hard in Turkey.
He was also understood to have been in the process of a new music venture, with plans to open a label to sign Australian rap talent
Keskin was considered one of the most dangerous underworld figuresbefore he left Sydney in 2019.
He was also known to have close links to Comanchero boss Mark Buddle and he was known to hang out with fellow Australian bikie Ahakan Ayik in Istanbul.
Keskin had the moniker the “Naked Bikie” after he was found in his birthday suit with a gun in a western Sydney backyard in 2015.
Until he left Australia, Keskin had been living in a number of luxurious addresses including a $8000 a week home in Double Bay and $2000 a week apartment in Kent St in the CBD.
