A MAN accused of being the national president of the Lone Wolf outlaw bikie gang, who police say is “highly capable of killing people who do not pay their debts” and was allegedly the mastermind of several Sydney ice labs, has been freed on bail to live a life of luxury in a $10 million Double Bay mansion.
Erkan Keskin, known as “Eric the Wolf’’, was arrested in a luxury Sydney CBD unit on October 25 and charged with drug trafficking in a Queensland court, where he was refused bail.
Then earlier this month the Brisbane Supreme Court granted him bail on a $700,000 surety, even though he told police he was an unemployed builder.
Police opposed bail saying Keskin, 39, “has amassed a large wealth believed to be more than $4 million earned through the manufacture and sale of ice.
”
He was ordered to wear a GPS tracking device, report to police twice daily and not leave his Double Bay home between 8pm and 6am while his case is heard in Queensland.
His six-bedroom mansion, in upmarket Holt St, rents for $7000 a week and comes with an inground swimming pool.
A former Turkish army conscript, Keskin has become known as “the naked bikie” after police arrested him for terrifying neighbours in Luddenham in Sydney’s west in July 2015 for running around naked and brandishing a Glock pistol.
The father of four has been accused of running an ice trafficking ring for alleged Gold Coast kingpin Paul John Vella, 45, who has not been charged.
Keskin claims he is an “adviser to PC Crane Services” and he denies he is a drug kingpin and money launderer.
Before releasing him on bail, the Brisbane Supreme Court was told Keskin “would stop at nothing to protect his drug business or to recall debts owed to him”.
“Keskin is overseeing a number of drug manufacturing labs in Sydney,” a police officer alleged.
