Police have released fresh CCTV footage as they continue to investigate the fatal shooting of a high-ranking Finks bikie after a robbery went wrong last year.
Jamie Goodworth, 32, was part of a group who tried to break into a Edensor Park property to steal up to $250,000 from the home of a man with suspected links to the Assyrian Kings just after midnight on February 24.
But as Goodworth, the bikie gang’s sergeant-at-arms, tried to break the front door down, the man on the other side opened fire from close range, shooting him twice.
An unconscious Goodworth was dumped at the door of Liverpool Hospital by his associates, before dying during emergency surgery.
Police allege Goodworth was shot while attempting an aggravated break and enter on Flack Close in Edensor Park.
Strike Force Heye was launched to investigate the death and, in October 2024, police extradited and charged a man who remains before the courts.
Homicide detectives have released new surveillance footage of a white Toyota HiAce van and a silver Toyota Camry, which were seen around the area at the time of the incident.
Anyone with information about the owners of the vehicle or their movements around the time of the shooting are urged to contact police.
Investigations under Strike Force Heye continue.
